i spy books was opened June 2007 by Jenny Johnston, a lifelong compulsive reader and booklover. The book store is situated in Tirau, in the heart of the Waikato region, about two hours south of Auckland and within easy driving distance of Tauranga, Rotorua and Hamilton.
- Tirau is a unique village noted for its interesting shops and iconic corrugated iron signs.
- If you are traveling through Tirau to other places i spy books is an ideal place for a comfort stop, coffee at fine swine cafe next door and a browse through the huge collection of i spy books.
- There is always a table outside with our specials and often a box of free books for you to rumage through.
